Sora: When I fought Ansem four years ago, he closed all the worlds as he died so I could only get to Hollow Bastion, Traverse Town and the Islands. Each world has a barrier that an outsider cannot get through. Then Xemnas came along, broke the barriers so I could see and help people again, but when I destroyed Xemnas....back on the Island, Mickey explained that the barriers were put up again, and that we couldn't see each other again.
Sora: Sure we can get notes to pass back and forth through barriers, but that's cuz they don’t belong anywhere....
