sakurabatou: I'll add to this as we go. But here's the basics.

What is this?
This is a journal currently being used for organizational purposes by sakurabatou and akisolj. It is a compilation of our written work concerning our Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy roleplay. We're both huge anime and video game fans.


How did it start?
Well, if you read the beginning ("start" tag) you'll see that we were having an AIM conversation about cosplay, and one thing led to another. The roleplay started out as just plain silly, but somehow evolved and became something meaningful to both of us. The plotline has gotten much more serious. (though still has lighthearted moments)

How do I read this?
I organized it with tags by 10s for the curious. There are 59 parts so far. I split them up about every 5 pages on Word so that each part wouldn't too long. Therefore, the splits don't necessarily coincide with scene breaks, though sometimes they do.

Transitions may get confusing at times, considering much of this was done out of chronological order. (storywise) A scene might end abruptly for no reason. This isn't meant to be a masterpiece of fanfiction. It just happened.

The reason it's in "screenplay" format is that it was roleplayed entirely through AIM chats. I changed our screennames to our nicknames and did some editing for clarity--most spelling corrections, some rearranging of lines (usually our comments) and the removal of irrelevant side conversations.

Is it done?
Nope, still going strong. :P I have no idea when it will be.

Why do you talk to the characters sometimes?
It's not meant to be self-insertion. We established near the beginning that our personal comments on what was happening in the roleplay would be placed in parentheses, otherwise the characters could "hear" us. It's a joke, really.

Fullmetal Alchemist? What the hell?

What is going on?
The basic idea for the story is that it takes place something like a year after the end of Kingdom Hearts II. We obviously took plot liberties, so complaining that things don't work is silly. We admit ourselves that we've got more plot holes than Square Enix could ever get away with. (then again, you never know.) That's not the point. The point is that it's fun. Hence more Final Fantasy elements thrown in.

What's the doujinshi?
We're both artists, so we decided to turn our RP into a doujinshi! (or "fan comic") It just started, but you can find it here.

Warnings?
There is swearing at some points, as well as violence, so if you're under 13, you probably...shouldn't read. Shounen-ai/yaoi (a.k.a. guy/guy relationships) is implied but never explicit. Generally, it's in a joking sense. It's complicated. XD I (sakurabatou) am the hardcore canon pairing fan and akisolj is the yaoi fan, so to speak, but we both kind of contaminate each other.
